On the drive we saw our first big black bear eating some vegetation on the side of the highway. Didn't get a chance to stop and get a picture
First stop we did make on the drive is Crescent Falls. Lots of stairs to get down to the falls and lots of stairs to get back up. But worth the steps, better than climbing down the mountain side.
The second stop is Kakakkaw Falls. I understand it is Canada's tallest falls. This is spectacular scenery. You can get quite damp from the mist coming off the falls. This was definitely worth the slight detour to walk into these falls.

WE got to Invermere on Tuesday June 10th. Spent a bit of Time with Lindsey, Terry and the Kids. And picked up the keys to our hosts cottage where we will stay the next 7 nights.
The next day John and Lorraine took us up hike to the top of the hoodoos.
As you can see it is quite a site.
When we got back down to the bottom we ran into Terry, Lindsay and the kids as the arrived to take the same hike. We were all impressed when I chatted with Lindsey later and she told me they made it all the way to the top with the 3 little ones.

Later that afternoon we went to Kinsman Park where Ken bribed a couple of girls into letting him try there paddleboard. I gave it a quick try as well but the wind came up so I quickly got off.

Couple of pictures from the Bootleg Gap Golf Course

Couple pictures from the springs golf course

Various pictures of golfing at the Springs, Eagle Ranch and some of the creatures that come along to join us.

An evening at the Lake where a few of us tried our hand at paddleboarding. None of us fell in so that was a bonus. One of us decided to jump in and play on some of the playground items.
