Pictures don't do this valley justice. Beautiful rolling hills and such colorful farmland

A few pictures to hopefully get an idea of how nice this campsite is... if you like to be in the woods
This is our favorite thus far, even though it does not have the deck and gazebo like Coal Creek.

Saw these 2 little ones with their Mom.

A nice quite country road as we drive first into Bragg Creek Provincial Park and then into town.

Obviously not good at multitasking, trying to take a selfie and eat peanut butter-chocolate ice cream before it drips all over me. It did anyway.
Not sure why the facial expression...it was goooood!!

Golfing Pics
(Monday) Today was a golfing day so for those of you tired of golf course pictures, you may want to skip the next few pictures

Ken hooking up our Starlink because we can't be without WiFi. But lots of fun watching your TV outside.

Above - my outdoor/indoor kitchen.
There was a bear spotting just as we rolled in so have to be very careful not to leave any tasty/smelly treats outdoors.
To the left, if you can see a white square in the middle of the photo, that is our closest neighbor.
Below - first bike ride and already had a fall. But this time I landed in a big puddle and I didn't knock Ken over. You can see my arm is pretty muddy but you can't see how wet my pants are

Day 2 at McLean Creek was a bike riding day, exploring more of the area and riding into the town of Bragg Creek.
The cattle around here roam free, we started our bike ride getting chased by a cow, and no I was not able to get a picture.
Ended the bike ride with my first (and hope last) road kill. A little chipmunk ran in front of us and just as he was across our path he turned around and ran right under my wheels. I was sick as I experienced the thump driving over its body. Didn't stop to get a picture of that either.

Trails in town along the river
This guy was not afraid to cross our path along the way

^ Not enough food in the forests around here ???

^ A little too much rain in the area, I think

This is the Clubhouse which used to be a ski chalet. It is twice as wide as what you see in the picture.

We were a little upset that we couldn't play Redwood Meadows golf Course. They didn't have any t-times available.
As it turns out, we were more than happy with this beautiful course. Definitely would come back and play this one.

Free roaming cattle...
Not chasing us per say.. but they came for a pretty close visit

A couple of them came right up to the door of the camper... Ken, brave enough to go out and face them square on...
little worried about the tenters across the road.
