Our drive to Casa Grande begins...
Day 1 - Nov 3 driving south with little to no traffic on the road either direction, and then we have a small mountain range amidst the prairie
We got to the border crossing at Coutts and crossed the border with ease. The Border guard asked us a few questions looked at our truck from where he sat and let us drive on. We were extremely grateful for the whole day. No wind, good weather and we found a good rest area just south of Great Falls.
The beautiful Missouri River, close to our stop last night
Geez it looks like it was snowing to the west of us
But then there was sun and a rainbow.
Just another nice clean rest stop above
Day 3, another day of driving
A bullet train to Salt Lake City, going much faster than us, But so is everyone going faster than us
Driving along canyons and all these crazy red rock formations. Better Pics tomorrow,
A couple daylight pictures of the rest area, ready for another day of driving. Starting Day 2
We saw some great sites today but I'm not fast enough with the camera to capture everything. Like the cattle drive below...by the time I got the camera out and got the shot we were at the tail end of it.
We saw a couple bald eagles and big horned sheep.
Sleeping under a full moon tonight.
Salt Lake City traffic, just staying in our skinny lane
Getting close to our destination, in Zion
Sleeping beside the chickens tonight
This is our final destination tonight. First time at a Harvest Host
This is a Boutique Hotel called Zion Cliff Lodge
Day 4 - Finally staying in the area for a bit and doing some golfing
Just a couple more pics of our harvest host, This is just a block away from the Arizona Border.
Below are all pics of the Golf Course at Sand Hollow in a town called Hurricane. It was a beautiful day and we both played pretty good.
This is the Club house and hole #1
Love this course...
Tomorrow we are doing some site seeing so you will be spared anymore golf course pictures
This is where we got to park our trailer
